BOLLIN LABEL COMPANY HISTORY

Grocery Store

Bollin Label didn’t develop overnight; the Bollin Label company history evolved over 100 years.
It all began in 1912 when Gilly Bollin opened his neighborhood grocery store in Toledo, Ohio. Sons Jerry and Harry Bollin oversaw the grocery business until 1969, when Jerry founded Bollin Distributing Company, filling a need for carpet cleaning products in local stores. Recognizing the wide variety of pricing systems retailers used, the company continued to diversify its services to better meet customers’ needs by adding labels, tags, and label guns to its product distribution.
